Special probes

The special probes for our coating thickness gauges enable measurements of unusual coatings on many different basic materials. Choose from seven models, depending on application and requirements designed as F probe (magnetic inductive), N probe (eddy current) or FN combined probe (both principles):

Probe FN 1.5/90°

Tube probe with a measurement range from 0 – 1,500 μm. Especially developed for coating thickness measurement in bores, tubes and grooves. With this probe, coating thickness measurements on difficult-to-access areas are possible with a high measuring accuracy. The newly developed, deflecting suspension of the sensor head results in a very small measuring uncertainty and high reproducibility of measurement values. For measurements on iron/steel and non-ferrous metals. Pipe probe with a measuring range of 0-1,500 μm. Specially developed for layer thickness measurements in holes, pipes and grooves. At a depth of immersion of Ø 13 mm and 165 mm insertion length also coating thickness measurements in hard to reach places with high accuracy are possible. A very low measurement uncertainty and a high reproducibility is achieved by the resilient mounting of the sensor head. For measurements on iron and steel and non-ferrous metals.

Probe FN 1.5R

Rectangular probe with a measurement range from 0 – 1,500 μm. The rectangular position of the sensor head enables measurements on difficult-to-access areas. For measurement on iron/steel and non-ferrous metals.

Probe F 1.5R

Rectangular probe with a measurement range from 0 – 1,500 μm. The rectangular position of the sensor head enables measurements on difficult-to-access areas an. For measurements on iron/steel.

Probe FN 3.5

Rectangular probe with a large measurement range from 0 – 3,500 μm on iron/steel and 0 – 3,000 μm non-ferrous metals. Also for measurements on difficult-to-access areas.

Probe F 3.5

Probe with a measurement range from 0 - 3,500 μm, covers the most common measurement tasks. For measurements on iron/steel.

Probe F 10

Rectangular probe with a large measurement range from 0 – 10 mm. For measurements on iron/steel.
