With economic effect from July the 1st, 2014 ppm Sensortechnik GmbH in Neuss took over PHYNIX GmbH & Co. KG in Cologne. PHYNIX GmbH & Co. KG remains a legally independent enterprise after the takeover.

The company ppm Sensortechnik is an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) service povider operating in the fields of manufacturing and production of  electronic assemblies. Dr. Hendrik Brenig, the new CEO of PHYNIX GmbH & Co. KG, explains the takeover: "With this takeover ppm Sensortechnik expands it´s own product range and adds mobile measurement devices, which are the perfect complement to the established products and services. Simultaneously a contineous progression is granted for PHYNIX."
